Dear Zack,

This is a reminder for you to check in on my scholarship status.

Also, for those of you who do not answer to the name of Zack (not that Jeff ever did either):

Why does Vanguard Administration suck? Why do we pay $30,000 to be pushed aside and given the run around? Why don't we have an efficient number of desks in our dormitories? Why can't we be treated like adults and given the opportunity to make our own life decisions such as whether or not alcohol consumption is acceptable for a person of legal age? Why is does it seem that the morals our parents taught us and have expected us to live by for the past ump-teen years, are subsidiary in light of the contract that we are forced to uphold.

Thats all the ranting for today. Thank you for your undivided attention. Over and Out!

Sincerely,

A happy-go-lucky gal who is currently bitter

Dear Zack,

I'm so frustrated at Vanguard! I have written a formal petition to get my deposit for fall semester back and it had taken them three weeks for Linda Hatrzell to say no. At first, they wanted to wait until Tim gets back which isn't until next week. Anyways, they call me last thursday night after the office is closed so I couldn't speak with anyone. I go in friday and Linda is not available... I go in Monday and they say she won't return until Wednesday... I call them Thursday and they say she is gone for the day... I go in last friday and they say she is out to lunch and then has a meeting but Tim will call me on Monday. I speak with Linda on Monday and she says she'll have Tim call me tuesday. Needless to say, its friday again and I have yet to hear from either of them to even set up an appointment.

I really only want to know why we were denied because there is no logical reason why I should be. I know that I may be biased but I have seriously pondered and have even asked several people to come up with a good excuse besides greed and stubbornness.

If for whatever reason, whether it be pride or technicalities, they are unable to return my money to me, I pray they can at least give my sister and I a $500 scholarship each.

Thanks for reading my venting and I'm sorry it wasn't more uplifting.

Cordially,

Michelle

...and so begins my dear Jeff letter...

Dear Zack,

Its definitely been a while since the last time I've written in my xanga account, so feel special. My day is uneventful so far but then again, the day is young. I'm just going about my day to day business saving babies and all. I really have nothing else to type. Sorry my post isn't epic.

Cordially,

Michelle

Life is good.

God is good. Let me expand on that thought. He is always good even when life sucks... but right now, life is good.

I'm about to turn 21. I have amazing friends. I saw a lot of friends graduate. I'm in a play for Orange Coast Company. I recently got a raise and  promotion. I was at Disneyland for an Oprah show and on Monday, they're flying me out to Chicago to finish the Oprah segment. Life is exciting and good. I feel so adult-ish because i'm traveling without my family for the first time ever.
God is good.

fake boobs and a sugar daddy

Yesterday, as i was walking in front of the caf, a small group of guys walked toward me. I smiled at them, but as soon as they passed, i heard one of the boys say to the other, "fake boobs" in an un-hushed tone. Oh, this bugged me! At first, i was really self conscious and wanted to cry but then i just got really angry. I wish i said something. If i had this is what i'd have said: Excuse me?! How dare you look at my breasts, let alone remark on them; as if you'd know what real boobs are. By the way, they're real and they're spectacular!

Last night, as a small frambly caravan went to Harbor house, we stopped at the gas station where a Lamborghini  was parked. It was beautiful. I felt wild and care free so i decided to approach the vehicle. I introduced myself to the owner and asked if i could take a look at his car. He said sure and then asked me if i wanted a ride. I said no thank you and proceded to admire the vehicle. He looked over to where Kent was filling up and asked me if that was mine. I assumed he meant the car so i said no, just a friend's. Then Richard, the rich man, asked me if i had a boyfriend. I said "no, not at this time" as i digressed back to Kent. I should have said "no, would you like to be my sugar daddy?" SIKE!
